Systematic Company Research

GII Initial Coverage

Selective, in-depth company research using China Restaurant Empire™, the Restaurant Empire Evolution Framework™ (REEF™), and the Time Compression Model™ (TCM™) to explain restaurant-industry competition, operating systems, economic architecture, scalability, and value creation.

Coverage Development

Building selective, in-depth company coverage.

GII’s broader research universe includes 79 publicly listed restaurant companies across the United States and Greater China, but the universe is not a promise to publish full Initial Coverage on every company. GII will focus selectively on companies that provide the strongest insight into industry structure, operating systems, growth economics, technology adoption, and capital-market questions.

During the initial development period, GII expects to publish approximately 2 company coverage reports per month while completing and preparing the full China Restaurant Empire™ book for publication. The pace may increase as the research and publishing workflow matures.

GII prioritizes research depth over coverage volume. Each company hub will be activated only after substantive source collection, operating-system analysis, financial review, and framework assessment have begun.

CRE Research Approach

Frameworks for explaining competitive phenomena.

China Restaurant Empire™

Examines how restaurant companies develop operating systems, institutional capabilities, supply chains, technology, and growth architecture.

REEF™

Studies the progression from product and operational control toward traffic, data, relationship, and decision control.

TCM™

Assesses how companies compress the time required to learn, replicate, expand, and improve across markets and operating formats.

Restaurant, Grocery & Food-Consumption Competition

Food at home and food away from home increasingly overlap.

Future coverage may include selected grocery, convenience, and food-retail companies where their operating models help explain the evolving competition between food at home and food away from home. GII may examine prepared-food strategy, pricing architecture, private-label development, digital membership, supply chain, store economics, delivery, and competition with restaurant platforms.

These companies will be selected for analytical relevance rather than added as a broad grocery-coverage mandate.

Selected Private-Company Research

Complementing public-company evidence.

GII may also study selected privately held restaurant companies using publicly available information. These studies add evidence on operating systems, franchising, supply chains, technology adoption, international expansion, and U.S.–Asia concept transfer.
